HALA, in cooperation with Tansart Communication, organizes Performance Box 2 at the Pohoda Festival 2019, which is a follow-up to last year's activity, when 8 performers from Asia presented themselves at the space of the box. Based on a positive audience response, our dramaturg, the visual artist Rokko Juhász, addressed the interdisciplinary artists from Latin America. This year at Pohoda, in an area of 6 m2, they will allow viewers to experience an unconventional, conceptual show and to recognize the thinking of artists' from other cultures.

The HALA civic association was founded in December 2013 with the vision of creating a specific space within the city of Trenčín designed to present contemporary visual art. During the five years, the main project of the association was a six-day symposium of contemporary art HALA, situated in dilapidated industrial brown-field premises. Since 2017, the program has been conceived as public art in the public space of the city of Trenčín. The programme's symposium focuses on multi-genre installations and performances in an effort to showcase the diversity of contemporary site-specific art and its creators in order to try to educate the Trenčín public through current forms of art.

Transart Communication Festival was founded in 1988, reflecting current local and world events on contemporary performative and multimedia art. The leading dramaturgist is the Hungarian-Slovak visual artist and performer Rokko Juhász, and since 2007 he has continued his activities under the Kassak Center. Over 30 years of existence, the traveling festival has hosted more than 500 artists from all over the world engaged in experimental forms of performance art. http://kassak.me
